Ace & Aperitivo respects your privacy. This statement explains what we collect when you join our list, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect
When you join the list, we collect the email address you enter and, if provided, your name. We also keep the date you joined and whether you chose to receive our newsletter.
How we use it, and why we may
We use your details to confirm that you joined the list and to tell you about Ace & Aperitivo Editions, including when places open. This is what you ask for when you leave your name, and it is our legitimate interest in answering that request.
If you ticked the newsletter box, we also send you occasional letters beyond the Editions. That is based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for unrelated advertising.
Where it is kept
Your details are stored securely in the systems used to run this website and send our emails. Only Ace & Aperitivo and the service providers needed to operate those systems can process them, and they may only do so on our instructions.
Some of those providers operate servers outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the safeguards those providers offer, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while the list is active or until you ask us to remove them. We may retain limited information where the law requires it.
Your choices and rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, request a correction, ask us to delete it, or object to our use of it. You may also ask us to limit how we use it.
Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and you may stop hearing from us at any time by using it or by writing to us.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you may complain to your national data protection authority. In Portugal this is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados.
